Juvenile Academy

U6: We had an excellent turnout this morning in Cumann Ioseph.
Great fun and high energy was the theme this week!! All the boys & girls had a great run around, getting fitter & stronger already. We worked on evasion, quick feet, balance, ball hopping, kicking skills and a lot of jumping!! Thanks very much to senior players Kieran O’Shea, James Costello, Paudie Bailey & in coming Michael Sheehan!! They gave us a 2 vs 2 demo of the football skills we are aiming for!!
Very well done to all the boys and girls today for great participation and listening to instruction. The outstanding turn around player for involvement & enthusiasm this morning was Noah Fealy!!
See you all next week! Gooo St Pats!!

U8: We had another great morning of training with the Under 8’s with more new faces coming to join the team. It was also great to have Veronica, Thomas and a few more familiar faces back for the season ahead. We continued to work on our skills of hopping, soloing and kicking along with our handling skills and you can clearly see the boys and girls are improving through practice at home. Big thanks again to our coaches, John, Roger, Jason, Michael and Joe to for helping out also. Training continues this Sunday at 10am in Cumann Iosaef and any parent interested in bringing their child along, please contact Joe on 087-2593800 for more details.

U10: The enthusiasm that was evident in our first session last Sunday week continued undiminished to our session last Sunday in Cumann Iosaef . We welcomed back Nikodem, Patryk, Aimee, Chloe and a special welcome to Conor who is new to our ranks. We continued with the focus on ball handling, correct pick up and good hand passing and finished with an energetic game using these skills particularly the hand pass.

U12: St. Pats under 12’s  were put through their paces last Sunday by current Kerry minor manager James Costello. Everyone of our future St Pats stars put in a great effort during the session especially Daniel Sheehy, Liam O’Connor and renew recruits Kevin & Sied. It’s important ye all continue to attend training. Next session is Sunday 3rd of February at 11am to 12pm again indoors in Cumann Iosaef so keep practicing yer skills at home during the week. Naomh Pádraig Abú !!

U14 Boys: Our management team for this age group has been finalised and they are Nicola Hayes, Tracey Corkery and Caroline Houston who will look after the administrative side of things as well as Padraig Hayes, Paul Kelliher and Mark Houston who are the coaches. We wish the team the best of luck for the year ahead.

Gather with your friends, neighbours and St. Pats colleagues for what will be a great night as we reminisce and also look to the future of the Club, finger food and a disco will add to the enjoyment of the evening.
Tickets are €15 per person and going by word around the village, they are flying faster than bread and milk on the shelves of O’Sheas Gala during last year’s Beast of the East invasion!
