Next week’s Lotto will have a Jackpot of €3,000 and the draw will take place on Sunday night Dec 08th in Skelper Quane’s Bar. Lotto tickets can be purchased online, from any club officer or at the following outlets: Seamus O’Sullivan Master Butchers, O’Shea’s Shop and Service Station, Poff Motors, Noyeks, Byrnesworth, Rock Inn, O’Dwyer’s Bar, Skelper Quane’s, Betty’s Bar and Keane’s of Curraheen.

AGM

Our club AGM took place last Sunday afternoon in the sports hall of Blennerville NS and had a good attendance. Assistant Secretary Terry Boyle on behalf of the secretary, Marie Fitzgibbon gave a report of the club’s activities over the past 12 months and acknowledged the hard work put in by club members in their various roles.

Reports on Finance and the Juveniles were also read. Club Chairman, Jimmy Mulligan gave his address encouraging parents and ex-players to get more involved in the club.

Most of the current officers agreed to stay on for another year with the exception of Christy Murphy who is stepping down as Treasurer, a post he’s held for 35 years, Brendan Poff who stepped down as Health and Wellbeing Officer and Seamus Murphy as Coaching Officer. Taking up their places are Sean Daly, Fiona Costello and Joe Costello respectively.

The positions of Player’s Rep. and Assistant PRO are yet to be filled. Hopefully these positions will be filled in the New Year.

The club are still looking for people to help out in finance, fundraising, public relations and communications and coaching, so if anyone is willing to commit an hour a week, we would be delighted to have the person on board. If interested, please contact Club Secretary, Marie Fitzgibbon via email: secretary.stpatricksblennerville.kerry@gaa.ie

Our seniors were overcome by Na Gaeil in the St Brendans Board Senior Football Championship Final last Friday evening in Austin Stack Park. This victory now guarantees that next year’s St Brendans Board Senior team for the County Championship will be captained by a Na Gaeil player.
