Lotto

There was no winner of our Club Lotto Jackpot on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 07, 18, 27 & 28. The five €30 consolation prizes went to Ned Flynn c/o Betty’s Bar, Aisling Curran Blennerville, Pa Casey c/o Tony Casey, Killian Quirke Ballydunlea and Mary Collins Kerins Park. Next week’s Lotto will have a Jackpot of €6,800 and the draw will take place this Sunday night July 10th in O’Dwyer’s Bar. Lotto tickets are available from the usual outlets or any Club officer.

Juvenile Academy

Our U6, 8 and 10 boys as well as U12 girls have games this Friday, 8th July in Blennerville at 7pm against Camp/Annascaul. Parents should contact the respective coaches if their child is unable to make it. Remember: Gumshields are mandatory.

U6’s: Well done to Thomas Colivet and Tommy and Hugh Costello who put in a great training session last Friday evening in wintery conditions but a huge well done to Cian O’Halloran who received our player of the week trophy by showing great skill and determination.

U8’s: Despite inclement weather conditions on Fri last, our u8s had a great turnout for a skills based training session. Rodhan Culloo won Peiladoir na Seachtaine while Nathan Murphy, Ben & Sam Jones, Sharon Enright and Gary Scollard were prominent.

U10’s: Our boys and girls trained under tempestous conditions last Friday and the turnout was good. All coaches were happy with the effort shown during the training session with Zach Howarth, Daniel Sheehy and Fionn Dairo giving it their all. We also welcomed back Kayla O’Connor. We will be playing Annascaul at home this Friday at 7pm and are also scheduled to play in the John Mitchel’s tournament on Saturday the 23rd of July from 10am to 2.30pm. Naomh Padraig Abu…

U13’s: The Coiste Trali U13 league commences this Sunday, 10th July at 6pm and we will be competing in division 2. Our first game is at home to Churchill. We wish the mentors and players the best of luck in this competition.

Seniors

We will be hosting table-toppers, Ballydonoghue this Saturday, 9th July in round 6 of the County League in Blennerville. Throw-in is at 7.30pm. Please come and show your support for the lads. Naomh Padraig Abu!

Hurling

St Pats men 1

Tadhg O’ Halloran and his son, Aidan playing for Ladys Walk in the preliminary round of the Intermediate Hurling Championship in Kilgarvan.

Congratulations to two St Pats Men, Tadhg & Aidan O Halloran who formed a Father & Son Combination on Tuesday evening last, when they both played [in goal & Wing Back respectively] for Ladys Walk in the preliminary round of the County Intermediate Hurling Championship in Kilgarvan.

They defeated the home side 2.17 to 3.11 after extra time, with Aidan contributing one point from play, late in the game.

They were scheduled to play Dr Crokes in the Quarter Final last Tuesday 5th July in Lewis Road. Match report next week.

Plaque Unveiling

There will be an unveiling of a plaque of former jarvey and storyteller, Nedeen Kelliher by the coffee shop in Blennerville’s Windmill next Wednesday the 13th of July at 7.30pm. The plaque will be unveiled by comedian and singer, Brendan Grace. All are welcome.

Primary Schools Game

Congratulations to Tomàs O’Sullivan who played for Kerry in the primary schools game last Sunday in Killarney during half-time of the Munster final against Tipperary, his mother’s home county. Tomàs had a brilliant game and we hope to see him back in the green and gold very soon.

International Children’s Games

Best of luck to Fergal O’Brien who will represent Kerry in the International Children’s Games in Taiwan next week.

Congratulations Galore

Congrats to our former Chairman James Costello and current senior team captain Luke Mulligan who guided the Kerry North U16’s to the Munster Championship title last Saturday in Millstreet. James is manager of the team with Luke as Strength & Conditioning Coach. Well done to both.

Congratulations to Kieran Hurley and Kieran Dwyer who both won Munster Junior and Minor medals with Kerry last week. We wish both players the best of luck in the future matches.

Well done to all who took part in the Ring of Kerry Cycle last Saturday, especially the St. Pats members.

Birthday Wishes

Congratulations to Carolann and Oonagh O’Sullivan as well as Phil Leen who celebrated significant birthdays recently.

Sympathy

The club would like to extend its sympathy to the families and friends of Vincent O’Doherty Listowel. May he rest in peace.
