TOMORROW looks like it’s going to be a wet one in the county.

Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow – Rain warning for Kerry, Cork, Galway and Mayo which will be in effect from 10am on Thursday to 8pm tomorrow night.

They say there will be heavy rain at times on Thursday which may cause localised flooding. Rain accompanied by fresh to strong winds will lead to poor travelling conditions. Rainfall totals will be higher in mountainous regions.

Looking locally, we’ll see persistent rain in Kerry from tomorrow morning with very little respite throughout Thursday and Friday. Things are set to improve a bit on Saturday afternoon, but Sunday looks very showery at this stage.
