SATURDAY is always the busiest night during the festival and if you’re looking for something to do after the parade then look no further than the Dome.

They’re hosting an 80s Disco and it’s set to be a fantastic event with Abbaesque providing the music, before a DJ plays the choicest cuts from the decade that spawned such fashion gems as leg warmers, spandex and double (stonewashed) denim.

Admission over 18’s only, the doors open at 9.30pm and tickets are €17 including booking fee. Click here to book tickets.

If the 80s night doesn’t tickle your fancy, you’ll be spoilt for choice around town. Local singer/songwriter Lauryn Griffin is in The Mall from 9.30pm to 10.30pm if you get tired of the parade.

After the parade you can see The Estrellis brass band in The Square, while the pubs around town also have great live music. Enjoy the night! (see programme below)
