St Patrick’s Day Swim

The traditional start to the 2016 Swimming Season took place on St Patrick’s Morning . 16 swimmers showed up for the opener and all had a great swim .

The water temp was 8.5c and Air temp was 8c , but a bitter cold wind made it feel more like 2c !

Winter Swimming

The Winter Swims came to and end last Sunday for this year . It was a very successful season with an average of 25 swimmers every Sunday and up as far as 40 swimmers one Sunday .

The popularity of cold water swimming is growing globally and we hope to see more of you join in for next year . It’s also a great social morning with raffles for Christmas and Easter goodies.
