A YOUNG Tralee boxer will fight for an All-Ireland on Saturday morning.
Christopher Mongans of Tralee Boxing Club will take to the ring to compete for an All Ireland Boy 2 54Kg title after a convincing 5-0 win over much fancied Jake Buckley Rosslare B.C at the National Stadium on Thursday night.
Christopher was out on the first bell with penetrating jabs followed by the right hand had Buckley on the back foot from the off.

He followed up with the second round with much of the same and young Mongan wasn’t going to be denied as he outclassed the Leinster Champion.
Christopher now faces E.M. O’Donnell another smart boxer from East Down BC who fought in Tralee Boxing Club’s tournament last year. All at Tralee Boxing Club and indeed in town, are wishing Christopher the best for Saturday.
