A TRALEE couple are organising a charity event for a cause close to their hearts later this month.
A charity fight night in aid of the Miscarriage Association of Ireland will take place on Thursday, November 26, at the BTS Fitness gym in Manor West.

Katie Donoghue and Akeem Molloy, are the local couple getting behind the charity for what should be an electric night of boxing.
The Miscarriage Association of Ireland is a charitable and completely voluntary body set up to support women and men who have been through miscarriages.
Katie, who herself suffered a miscarriage, wanted to highlight the organisation and give them her support as she feels strongly about the services they give to couples. If the couple raise enough they will also donate to Dr Mary McCaffery’s services in Tralee.
Having seen the success of the suicide awareness fight night held in BTS Fitness held earlier this year, Katie and Akeem have decided to organise the event along the same lines. There will be 12 fights overall with a mix of male and female fighters.
John Mitchels player, Akeem, is hoping to get a bit of local club rivalry going with the bouts which would provide extra spice.
They have also teamed up with Quarters nightclub who will be giving free entry on the night for anyone who goes along to see the fights. A bus will be available for people going from the event to Quarters.
The fights are set to start at 7:30pm sharp and are expected to continue until 11:3opm. Tickets cost €10 and can bought off either Katie or Akeem or on the night. For more information check out the Facebook event page HERE
