Tralee Golf Club Captains’ Charity Day To Help Pieta House

THE Rose of Tralee, Maggie McEldowney, was in town yesterday to help officially launch an event which will benefit Pieta House in Tralee.

The annual Tralee Golf Club Captains Charity Day will take place on Saturday, July 8 in aid of the facility at Moyderwell.

“We have a charity event every year and we decided to choose Pieta House as it does great work and we’re delighted to help them out,” said Lady Captain, Margaret Murphy.

“On behalf of Pieta House Kerry, I’d like to thank Tralee Golf Club for choosing us as their charity for this year, because it really means a lot to us and helps keep our doors open,” Cora O’Brien, Clinical Manager at Pieta House Kerry.

Teams of four are €400 and there will be a raffle with great prizes. Entry includes a barbecue and entertainment that evening. Tee times from 8.30am. For more information contact the club on 066-7136379.
