The Tralee Golf Club Under 15 team after winning the Munster Skills Competition.
YOUNG members of Tralee Golf Club were successful in a Munster competition at the weekend.
The u15 team became Munster Skills champions after winning the competition in Ballykisteen, Co. Tipperary on Saturday.
The team consisted of Mark Stephenson, Eoin Higgins, Fionan Egan and Donagh Stephenson.
Team Manager, Paul Stephenson said; “Mark did the putting, Donagh the chipping, Eoin the driving and Fionan the iron shots. All heroes.”
This qualifies the team to take part in the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open Skills Challenge which will be held in Portstewart on Tuesday, July 4, prior to the Irish Open.
Our young players will also have the chance to watch and meet the world’s best golfers as they prepare for the Dubai Duty free Irish Open. The event is supported by the Rory Foundation.
