TRALEE Musical Society had something to cheer about on Saturday night when one of its members won an award.
The Association of Irish Musical Societies had its annual awards ceremony in the INEC Killarney, where well over 1,300 members attended.
John Hurley was announced as winner of the Best Technical /Gilbert Section for the Musical Society’s production of “Jesus Christ Superstar’.

The other Tralee nominations were Des Hurley for Best Stage Manager and Best Visual (Costume, Hair and Make Up).
The celebrating continued long into the night for the winners and early into the morning as the sun set on another AIMS Awards Weekend.
