Moss Spillane RIP
Tralee Parnells Hurling & Camogie Club were deeply saddened to hear the news of the sudden death of former groundsman of Caherslee and ASP steward, Moss Spillane. Moss was an absolute gentleman and a great friend to Parnells. He was very supportive of the club since we started and so welcoming to the club when we made Caherslee our home. On behalf of the club, we would like to offer our sincere condolences to his family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.

MyLife GAA Healthy Clubs Steps challenge
In conjunction with Irish Life, the MyLife GAA Healthy Clubs Steps challenge will officially begin on June 3rd and runs until June 30th. To help the club reach the most steps in Munster and be in with a chance of winning a €2,500 O’Neills voucher, download the MyLife app, register (Over 18s) and nominate Tralee Parnells as your club. This is a great chance to join together as a club while continuing to stay apart.

GAA Activities
As per Uachtarán CLG, all GAA activities remain suspended and pitches remain closed until July 20th at the earliest. We are all hoping that we can get back on the hurling pitches as soon as possible after this date. In the meantime, take every opportunity to puck around at home or in small groups.

Irish Examiner article
It was great to see Kerry Hurling and in particular Tralee Parnells Hurling & Camogie Club being mentioned in an article in last Monday’s Irish Examiner by Anthony Daly.

It’s a great acknowledgement of the work that has been put in over the last 9 years in the club. Also great to see the efforts of Colm O’Brien, GDA for Tralee and South Kerry, being acknowledged.
