National Draw

There is still some time before we need to submit all tickets to Croke Park for the National Club draw.  As it looks like it will be another difficult year to organise fundraising events we ask that all club members sell as many tickets as possible.  All proceeds are being lodged directly into the club’s capital account.

It is essential to grow the capital account to enable progress on finding a permanent home for the club.  The draw has some brilliant prizes including a new Renault Clio as well as some great cash prizes.  Please return completed stubs and unsold tickets to David Brick (085-1355566) by the end of this week at the latest, thank you.

Strategic Development Plan

Under the expert guidance of GDA Colm O’Brien, the club has started the review of it’s strategic development plan.  The executive committee as well as many volunteers have attended a number of meetings and will continue this work for the next few weeks.

We are still at an early stage so anybody who would like to get involved is very welcome. Please contactpro.traleeparnells.kerry@gaa.ie.

Training for Coaches

In conjunction with Kerry GAA the club will hold an online Foundation Level Coaching Course starting this week, Wednesday January 20th at 7pm – 9pm and continue on January 27th at the same time.

To register, please text your email address to 085 1255566. When restrictions allow, the practical elements of the course will take place. This course is a minimum requirement for anybody coaching teams at any level.  You don’t have to have previously played hurling or Camogie, the only requirement is having a love for the sport !
