The victorious Tralee Parnells Under 15 camogie team.
THERE was great excitement yesterday as a Tralee Parnells side were victorious in the John West Féile na nGael camogie competition.
Held at Oran in Roscommon, the Tralee Parnells Under 15s won the Division 5 competition after beating Portumna of Galway in the final by 0-5 to 0-3.
The girls beat Padraig Pearses from Co Roscommon by 2-11 to no score, Inniskeen from Co Monaghan by 6-06 to no score and Eire Óg Greystones from Co Wicklow by 2-12 to 0-2 in their group games.

The faced Markievicz in the semi-final and won by an impressive 5-06 to no score to qualify for the final against the Galway outfit. They weren’t to be denied and took the cup back to Kerry.
Well done to all the girls and the coaches and management team of Sinead Curtin, Brian Shanahan, Natalie O’Shea and David Brick on the victory.
