Michael Griffin from Oakpark regularly uses social media to put up clips promoting the Irish language in a cool and fun way.
His series of snapchat and Instagram stories over the past few months are about giving people the confidence to speak and not to be worried about making mistakes. His clip of him testing his 94 year old granny’s knowledge of Irish went viral back in September.
Now Michael features on TG4’s ‘Bloc’ and his first offering sees him getting people on the streets of London to say ‘póg mo thóin’, ‘tá an mBanphríonsa Kate an te’, dún do chlab’ and other sentences. Have a look below…
