SENIOR FOOTBALL: Our senior footballers play their first game of the year in the St. Brendan’s Board Senior League away to St. Pat’s, Blennerville on Sunday 2nd February. Best of luck to the players and their new management team.
MINOR FOOTBALL: Minor Town League. Ardfert’s first game of the season ended in a loss to Churchill, 3-16 to 3-8.
We started against the wind and found ourselves 13 points down at the end of the first quarter. Ardfert rallied and goals from Odhran, Sean and David brought us in at the break 6 points down. Second half was a low scoring affair but there was a big improvement in the football.
