AN CAMPA PEILE
Our summer football camp will take place from Tuesday 5th August to Saturday 9th August. ‘Bhfuil d’ainm ar an liosta agat?

(i) We had a good morning’s football with our friends and neighbours from Club na nGael (Na Gaeil) last Sunday. (ii) More football on Thursday at 5.45pm and (iii) on Sunday at 11am in Caherslee. Peil den scoth gan stad gan staonadh!

(i) We had a great day at the John Mitchel Club Tournament on Saturday last. Thanks to all who attended agus mórbhuíochas le lucht a eagraithe. (ii) Further football fun on Thursday at 5:45pm and (iii) on Sunday at 11am in Caherslee.

(i) Expect text re our Under 11 League game v Na Mistéalaigh. (ii) We did well v Na Gaeil on Thursday 17th.
UNDER 12 FOOTBALL
(i) We hosted St Pats in Connolly Park on Sunday evening in this Under 13B Central League match. We dominated the early exciting exchanges but struggled to put scores on the board. Then when our players started playing for each other and moving the ball more directly, we reaped our reward. We ran out comfortable winners despite the fact that it was our Under 12s who were representing the club. The most pleasing aspect of the contest was the cross-section of scores; and the general performance of each player was very encouraging. (ii) We had a very enjoyable day at Fitzgerald Stadium on Wednesday last. We had three very competitive matches and each player gave a great account of himself. We kicked scores of which Mickey or the ‘Star’ would be would have been proud and we had some Séamus Moynihan-like efforts from our defenders. Many of these players will play in this stadium at senior level for club and county at some stage in the future! We are grateful to the organisers for a great day of fantastic football.
