Members of Ballymacelligott GAA Club looking forward to ‘Run Ballymac’ next month.
BALLYMACELLIGOTT GAA club is hoping as many people as possible turn up in their running shoes for an event next month.
The inaugural ‘Run Ballymac’ will be held on Sunday, October 13 and will feature a half marathon 10k, 5k and family fun run. All money raised will go to the Ballymacelligott GAA Football Club
It’s going to be a fantastic community occasion which will see all ages come together for an active, healthy morning, with all races starting and finishing in the community centre area.

The 1/2 marathon,10k and 5k are chipped timed, with the 1/2 marathon and 10k participants receiving a ‘Run Ballymac’ finishers t-shirt. There will be beautiful crafted medals for everyone.
Online registration will close on Friday, October 11 at 9pm. Manual registration will be taken on Saturday October 12 from 7pm to 9pm at Ballymacelligott Community Centre and on the morning of the race.
Manual registration will incur a €5 administration charge and will close one hour before each race.
The Race times are;
• 1/2 marathon 9.00am — €35
• 10k. 10.00am — €25
• 5k. 12.00pm — €12.50
• 3k fun run. 1.00pm — Family €20
