Coiste na nÓg

U15 Boys

This week we wished Jackson Brosnan the very best of luck as he was competing with his horse Bitcoin in Hagen in Germany as part of an Irish Squad in the future champions.

This is a huge achievement for Jackson well done from all in Ballymac

U13 Boys

On a fine sunny day, the Ballymac boys took on Fossa in the U13 County Final. From the throw in Fossa took an early lead. The Ballymac boys dug deep and kept in touch with the opposition, trailing by only 3 points at half time.

The second half saw Fossa increase the pressure going further ahead but some excellent goal keeping by Jack Lynch kept us in the game. The Ballymac lads were unlucky not to score 3 goals throughout the game due to excellent goalkeeping by the opposing no.1.

Excellent play from so many of our lads saw the Ballymac boys dominate for a period of the game. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough and at the final whistle Fossa came out on top on a score line of 3.13 to 1.11, a scoreline that doesn’t reflect the determination and hard work put in by all on the team.

Many thanks to Eimear Galvin of CA Galvin for sponsoring new tops for the boys ahead of their final, your support is very much appreciated.

mothers and others from blitz in Mallow

Mothers and Others

A fabulous day of fun and football was enjoyed at Mallow on Saturday 17th June 2023 for the Munster Mother & Others Blitz. Ballymac ladies showcased their sporting prowess with super performances against clubs from Cork and Limerick. The torrential downpour didn’t dampen spirits with the ladies playing a blinder in the final games of the day.

Special thanks to Oonagh O’Rahilly for organising this outing on behalf of the team and keeping the team sheltered on the day with her super planning. Well done to all. We will continue with training every Tuesday at 7pm at the training field. All welcome.
