LOCAL author and guidance counsellor, Billy Ryle, was as good as his word when he presented half the proceeds from the sale of his book to a local youth club.
Billy’s book, ‘From Fenit Bathing Slip to the High Court’ was launched last May and he said any net profits from its sales would be divided equally between Fenit/Spa Youth Club at Fenit Parish Centre and the Austin Stacks GAA Juvenile Club.
In the past week he has presented two cheques for €1,000 each to both organisations, who were both very grateful for Billy’s generous gesture.
