Car Damaged And Premises Burgled Close To Tralee Garda Station

GARDAI are looking for the public’s assistance in relation to two incidents which occurred close to Tralee Garda Station at the weekend.

On Saturday night, between 11pm and 11.30pm, at the Island of Geese, the back fly window of a silver Ford Focus was broken and a packet of cigarettes and lighter taken.

Also that night at the Island of Geese, between 11.30pm and 10am on Sunday morning, The Little Cheese Shop was entered via the rear entrance and cash was stolen.

Gardaí say the two incidents may be connected. They are also advising business owners not to leave any cash in their premises overnight. Anyone with any information on either incident can contact Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.

    I can give GARDAI some public assistance in the form of advice:
    Act like a real police force and not like a bunch of second rate security guards! Do patrols especially at night in the town centre and in the day in areas like the town park where we see nothing but scumbags drinking, using and selling drugs?
