THE Government has announced €2.2 in funding for Kerry Airport under the Regional Airports Programme 2021-2025 and the Covid-19 Supplementary Supports Scheme.
This latest tranche of funding brings the total Government investment in Kerry Airport for 2021 to €5.9 million.
Welcoming the news, Kerry Fianna Fáil TD and Minister for Education Norma Foley said: “I welcome this funding which will deliver further vital financial supports to Kerry Airport. This announcement will provide a timely boost for the aviation sector in the south west region while ensuring the successful continuation of regional connectivity at Kerry Airport.”
