THE EMERGENCY services of Kerry will come together on Saturday, June 13, for their seventh annual cycle for charity…and they’re looking for cyclists to join them.

The cycle is a highly anticipated event for members of the Gardai, Fire and Ambulance services in town, as it’s the only time they meet each other outside of doing their fantastic work in the community.

The beneficiaries of this year’s Kerry Emergency Services Charity Cycle are the Kerry branch of Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland  and South West Counselling.

On the day, participants will head off on the 75km route from the Town Park at 10am, going west to Camp, onto Annanscaul turning back towards Inch, onto Castlemaine and finishing back where it all started in the Town Park for a barbecue for everyone to enjoy around 1.30pm. Free parking will be provided also.

This year the cycle is teaming up with the Féile na mBláth festival which will be happening in the Town Park at the same time.

It’s €30 to enter, all of which is going to the charities. Registration on the day is from 9am to 10am.
