Four Things To Do In Tralee This Weekend

.

It’s the weekend and the weather is supposed to stay dry for the most part. Unfortunately, there isn’t that much to get to compared to other weekends. Still though…

Friday

1. Beauty night…

HORAN’S Healthstores will hold their official Ría Organics Skin Care launch this Friday evening at 7pm at Horan’s The Square Tralee with special guest Mary O’Donnell Beauty.

Tickets are €5 and are redeemable on the night. They are available from Horan’s The Square. There’s refreshments and nibbles on arrival, goodie bags, guest speakers from Revive Active and Eskimo Ireland and fantastic spot prizes!

2. Go for a run…

Anyone can still enter the Optimal Fitness Tralee’s Corporate Challenge 10k/5k event.

It takes place from Aspen Grove on the Castlemaine Road at 7pm. You can still register at the race start point at Aspen Grove between 5.30-6.30pm. Some of the proceeds from the event are going to MS Ireland.

Saturday

3. Racing in Ballybeggan…

Point-to-Point racing will take place at Ballybeggan Racecourse, Tralee on Saturday.

Apart from the horseracing, there’s a Dog Show, Puppet Show, Bouncy Castle, Facepainting, Pony Rides, Craft Stalls, Hot Food Catering, and a full bar.

It should be a great day out for all the family. Entry is €8 on the gate.

4. Enjoy/endure the match…

Saturday night is set to be utterly bananas around Tralee for the European Champions League final.

Publicans are rubbing their hands with glee and some are expecting their premises to be packed an hour before kick-off as Pool fans get into position in front of big screens.

It won’t be just Liverpool fans out of course. Man Utd, Chelsea and pretty much every  other soccer fan will be cheering on the Real Madrid men with gusto.

Even if your not a football fan, watching grown men run through the full range of human emotions over 90 minutes should be fun.

Whatever the result, the pubs will be the big winners on what promises to be a nervy night for Reds fans.
