Gardaí Investigate Burglaries In Tralee And Abbeydorney

GARDAI are investigating three incidents of burglary in Tralee and Abbeydorney over the past week.

Two incidents occurred in the Killeen/Oakpark area and a third in Laccamore, Abbeydorney.

On Tuesday last, April 25 at around 4.30pm, a house in an estate on the Killeen Road was broken into.

A large amount of designer goods were taken, including iPads, gaming consoles, designer handbags, watches and other items. The owner of the house came home to find the premises ransacked.

Nearby, on the upper Oakpark road, a house was broken into and ransacked between Tuesday, April 25 and Thursday, April 27.

In Laccamore, Abbeydorney, a house was burgled at around 4am on Saturday, April 29. Some items were taken in the break-in.

Gardaí say there has been an increase in reported burglaries over the past number of weeks. They are asking for the public’s assistance in relation to any of the above break-ins to contact them on 066-7102300.
