GARDAI are seeking the public’s help in relation to two crimes committed in the past week.
In the early hours of last Saturday, September 20, a man was set upon and robbed by three men in the Upper Rock Street area, while on his way to work.
The victim was left very shaken after the attack and had money, mobile phone and rucksack taken by the perpetrators.
Gardai say a number of vehicles passed through the Rock Street/North Circular Road area between 5am-6.30am and are looking for anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact them at the Garda Station.
Gardai are also investigating the theft of a handbag from a car in the Killeen Road area around lunchtime on Wednesday. They are looking for anyone who saw a young male acting suspiciously to contact them at the station.
