THE All-Ireland Schools Track and Field Championships were held Tullamore on Saturday, with Tralee CBS and Mercy Mounthawk students flying the flag for Tralee.

Athletes from the four provinces competed having qualified through three stages – county and provincial 1&2. The competition was of a very high standard, with numerous new national schools records set.

On the medal list was Tralee CBS student Sean Quilter who won the Minor Boys Long Jump, but Tralee’s other participants also gave their all at the event.

Well done to all.
