LADIES AND MENS LEAGUES
The ladies and mens leagues for divisions 3 and 4 which commenced in October are now nearing the closing stages but there could be many twists and turns yet before the final picture will be known.
The division 3 league is sponsored by Agri Auto parts of Tralee and Listowel whilst the division 4 league is sponsored by Speedy’s Bar of Moyvane
In the division 4 ladies there are two 3 team sections with the defending champions Ballyheigue being the pace setters in section 1 with the opposition being supplied by Moyvane and Listowel.
Ballyheigue have won all four matches played and would look good to qualify for the next round.
Section 2 consists of Iveragh, County, Tralee and Killarney. This section looks wide open with each club having won and lost a game each
In the mens Division 4 league there are also 2 sections. Section 1 consists of Annascaul, Killarney A, Causeway and Iveragh with Annascaul here having 3 wins to their credit and Killarney having 2 so the West Kerry side have a slender advantage here.
Section 2 sees Moyvane, Listowel and Killarney B in opposition with Moyvane being leaders having won 3 matches.
In division 3 in the mens league there are 4 teams which are Moyvane, Killarney,, Tralee and Iveragh. This league would seem to be a straight shoot out between Moyvane and Killarney as each club have won 2 out of their games played.
The division 3 ladies consists of 3 clubs, Moyvane, Castleisland and Killarney with Moyvane leading the way having won 3 out of 4 games played.
The finals of these leagues are set for Tralee for Wednesday January 13th.
