A KERRY woman will be hoping to go on a Winning Streak of her own when she appears on the National Lottery Winning Streak game show on RTE One this Saturday.

Peggie Fitzgibbon from Kenmare only discovered she had been selected to appear on the iconic game show after she return home from her aunt Ellie’s 85th birthday dinner last Saturday evening.

Peggie wasn’t long in bed when her bedroom door burst open and her daughters excitedly told her about her good fortune.

Peggie was so elated that she got straight up out of bed and re-joined her family in the hotel where the birthday dinner was held and they celebrated until the early hours!
