Men Charged In Relation To Kerry Burglaries

THE three men arrested in relation to burglaries in Limerick and Kerry on Wednesday have been charged.

All three are due to appear before Dublin District Court (CCJ) of Friday, February 7 at 10.30am.

Gardaí arrested the three men in relation to four burglaries of retail premises in the North Kerry and Limerick areas on Wednesday morning.

The burglaries took place at premises in Creeves, Co. Limerick, Ballylongford, Tarbert and Moyvane in Kerry. A sum of cash was taken from three of the premises. They failed to gain access to the fourth premises.

The suspects are believed to have fled in a vehicle which was then involved in a single vehicle Road Traffic Collision at Aughrim, Moyvane.

Three males, two in their 20s and one in their late teens, were then arrested and detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Listowel and Tralee Garda Stations.
