TOMORROW is set to be a wet and windy Saturday in Kerry as Met Eireann issued two weather warnings this afternoon.

A Status Yellow Wind warning will come into effect from 9am on Saturday as, in coastal areas and on exposed hills and mountains, southerly winds will reach mean speeds of 45 to 60 km/hr with gusts of 80 to 100 km/hr. The warning is valid until 8pm later that evening.

Meanwhile, to complement the wind, we also have a Status Yellow rainfall warning from 11am until 11pm tomorrow.

Spells of heavy rain with amounts of 25 to 35 mm could lead to spot flooding. There will be reduced visibility and hazardous driving conditions.
