Seniors    Na Gaeil will play Glenbeigh/Glencar in Round 3 of the Senior Football League Division 2 on Saturday evening next at 7.30pm in Glenbeigh.

2nd Team    Our second team are at home to Fossa in Round 3 of the Division 6 Senior Football League on Sunday July 4th at 2pm.

Minors    On Monday June 21st the longest day of the year we played John Mitchels in Round 3 of the County League. The game was evenly contested in the first half on a score line of 1-06 to 2-03. Things were just as tight in the second half with Na Gaeil’s hero of the hour Kian Sheehan with a personal tally of 3-04, providing a cool head to lead Na Gaeil to a one point victory. Final score; Na Gaeil: 3-07; John Mitchel’s: 2-09.

U15    On a beautiful evening for football our U15 team hosted Dr. Crokes in Round 3 of the County League last Wednesday 23rd June. We got off to a great start and had 2-04 on the scoreboard before Dr. Crokes registered their first score. A further goal just before the first water break left us ahead by 3-04 to 0-01. By halftime we had stretched the lead to 3-08 to 0-03. The second half was a more even contest with both teams scoring 1-06. At the end we got the win on a scoreline of Na Gaeil: 4-14; Dr. Crokes: 1-9. Team:  Iarla O hAiniféin, Jamie Schoenmaker, Jeaic Canty, Fionn Heaslip, Peter Doyle, Ruairí O hAiniféin, Kevin O’Donoghue, Seán Barrett, Oisín O’Sullivan, Conor Lucey, Liam Cooper, Jack Costello, Paddy McElligott, Sean Morris, Darragh Morris, Fionn O’Brien. Next Wednesday evening we will face a tough challenge when we host Ballymac in Round 4.

U13    Our U13 White Team had a great win away to Ballymac in Round 3 of the County League on Sunday evening. Only a point separated the sides at the final whistle. Final score: NaGaeil: 3-08; Ballymac: 3-07. Our U13 Green Team was at home to Desmonds with Na Gaeil winning comfortably in a one sided game.

U11    Our Green and Gold teams hosted Kerins O’Rahillys in the U11 County League on Thursday evening while our white team made the short journey to Blennerville to take on St. Pats.

U9    Our U9 players played against John Mitchels on Sunday and really enjoyed the experience. We extend our thanks to the John Mitchels club for hosting us. We look forward to their visit to Killeen in the coming weeks.

Tea and Coffee       Teas, coffees, hot chocolate, drinks and snacks are served every Sunday morning on our terrace at the clubhouse during our Juvenile Academy sessions. We look forward to seeing you there!

Lotto    Our Lotto draw was held on Tuesday last June 22nd. Numbers drawn were: 20, 22, 28, 30. There was no winner of the jackpot. €20 Lucky dip Winners were: Terry Healy, Oakpark, Michael Forrest, Ard Na Lí, Honor & Pat O’Riordan, Racecourse Lawn; Dónal O’Connor and Damien Ginty, Cloondara. Next week’s jackpot is €4,750.

Clothes Collection    There is now a Clothes Collection Bin situated in Na Gaeil car park for use by all members of the public.
