PACO in Tralee are once again holding a coffee/fashion morning fundraiser for a great cause this Friday.

Aileen Whelan from the store on The Mall has, in the past, held fundraisers for Recovery Haven, Nano Nagle School, MS Tralee District Branch, Inspired, Blennerville Rehabcare and  defibrillators for Tralee among others.

This time the event will draw attention to the Grace Moran Memorial Walk which will be held from Kerins O’Rahillys Clubhouse on Sunday, November 11 at 2pm.

Hundreds are expected to take part in that event to remember Grace Moran who passed away on November 13 of last year. The walk will benefit three organisations; Pieta House, Cuan Mhuire and MS Tralee District Branch.

There’ll be the usual mix of a fashion show and tea and scones on Friday morning from 11am to 1pm. People will be able to make a donation to the three causes and buy a line on the sponsorship cards.

Grace Moran was the much-loved daughter of popular shopkeepers Eileen and Jimmy who run Moran’s Foodstore on Strand Road, sister of Tricia and mother to Jade. There was great sadness at her sudden passing last year and the walk will be a wonderful chance to remember her and help out three great causes.
