THE talents of local students have gone on display at Kerry County Museum which hosts a Junk Kouture exhibition for the next two weeks.
Students from five Kerry schools – Mercy Mounthawk, Presentation Tralee, Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí, Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra and Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne — designed and upcycled fashions from recycled material for the annual competition earlier this year and their work has gone on display at the Museum until Saturday, June 24.
The exhibition was launched on Saturday as part of the Cruinniú na nÓg festival. Teachers from Mercy Mounthawk, Mairead Ryan and Stacey O’Leary co-ordinated the event, which was attended by students and their families.
