Mercy Mounthawk team.
CAMOGIE players from around the county came together on Friday to compete in the Allcare Kerry Schools First Year Camogie blitz organised and hosted by Mercy Secondary School Mounthawk.
Five young teams competed from Causeway (2), Mercy Mounthawk, Presentation Tralee and Kanturk. The overall winners were Causeway Comprehensive who took the title with a final minute goal from Ally Russell to win by 2 points over Mercy Mounthawk in the tournament final.
Other semi-finalists were Presentation Tralee and Kanturk Secondary School. Congratulations to Causeway Comprehensive and in particular to Ally Russell who also won Player of the Tournament.
