STUDENTS at Presentation Secondary School in Tralee received pearls of wisdom on Friday as the school celebrated International Women’s Day with a special event.
The school celebrated Women’s Week with a number of events, the highlight of which was the ‘Women In Business’ talk.
Radio Kerry’s Deirdre Walsh was the MC for the occasion which saw a number of guest speakers tell their story to TY, 5th and 6th year students.

Guest speakers on the day were Emily Cane of Kerry Group, Catherine Moylan from MTU, Emma O’Connor from Eileen’s Beauty Salon, Carol Brick of Harmony.ie, Heather O’Sullivan from John Ross Jewellers , Katie Ahern of Enterprise Ireland and renowned fashion designer Don O’Neill.
The guests, from a wide spectrum of business, spoke about their careers to date, giving advice to inspire and motivate them in whichever path they take in the future. Scroll down for photos…
