THERE was a massive crowd on Denny Street for the fireworks last night and they weren’t disappointed as they were treated to a spectacular display.
The crowd started gathering from around 6.30pm and by the time they were set off from behind the Ashe Memorial Hall less than an hour later, there were thousands present.
Supported by Tralee Chamber Alliance, John Drummey Communications, Manor West Retail Park, BorgWarner, Kerry County Council, Lee Strand Milk and Murphy’s Plant and Tool Hire, the fireworks were set off by young Sophie Moynihan and they lit up the sky for over 10 minutes.
Radio Kerry’s Andrew Morrissey was the MC for the evening and it was a great way to start off the New Year’s Eve celebrations for families. Scroll down for photos…
