The night was the second time that ‘Enable Ireland’ put on the racing event where the public got to quiz a panel of well known faces in the racing world including Jim Culloty and Tom Cooper ahead of the world famous racing festival, all of whom gave their time free of charge.

Around €18,000 was raised on the night thanks to a number of items auctioned.

“It’s great, we had a good night. We got €100 from ‘Paddy Power’ and each of the panelists was given €100 bet to place. It’s an addition of over €1,100 and it’s brilliant. We’re very grateful to ‘Paddy Power’,” said Sean Scally of Enable Ireland.

Enable Ireland provides a range of support and services to children and adults with disabilities. There are two centres based in Tralee, adult services are based in Edward Street and children’s services are in Oakview village.
