Miriam O’Sullivan will play for her mom this Saturday on Winning Streak.
A CHEF and popular food and fashion blogger, originally from Kerry but living in London, will give her mum the best Mother’s Day present ever this Saturday by appearing on the National Lottery Winning Streak game show on RTE One this Saturday on her behalf.
Miriam O’Sullivan, who lives in North London, got a call last Sunday morning from her mum Mary O’Sullivan Mangan asking her to go on the show for her. After thinking it was a wind up, a look at the show on the RTE player confirmed the great news and Miriam was planning a flight home!

Miriam and Mary are from the village of Knocknahoe near Killarney, but Miriam moved to London six years ago where she lives over there with her boyfriend, David O’Connor, from Tralee.
Miriam (33) has had an interesting career path. She has always been interested in fashion, having studied it and completed a degree in Fashion Buying.
She then worked in the corporate side of fashion in Tesco head office but gave it all up when she was offered redundancy.
She pursued her other passion, home cooking, and in 2016 took a three month course in Ballymaloe Cookery School.
She now works as head cook for a property development company in London, looking after all their catering requirements.
She retains her interest in fashion and Miriam combines her loves by writing her popular blog BakeMyStyle.com, through which she has built up a strong social media following too. In the blog, she shares ideas for outfits and for recipes.
Miriam says her love for home cooking was nurtured by her mum Mary who is an amazing cook herself. She has a strong bond with her mum and Miriam writes a letter to her mum and posts it from London every week to let her know all of the news.
This is not the first time that Miriam has had some Lottery luck as she won €5,000 a few years back on a Fame and Fortune scratch card.
The next episode of Winning Streak, will be broadcast next Saturday evening at 8:25pm on RTÉ One, where presenters Marty Whelan and Sinead Kennedy will guide five players through the iconic show, which gives them the chance to win cash, cars and luxury holidays. One will get the once-in-a-lifetime chance to spin the Grand Prize Wheel with a maximum prize of €500,000.
