YOU may have noticed it’s been raining for a while now.

Well Met Eireann has updated its Yellow Status rainfall warning for Kerry, Clare, Cork, Limerick and Connacht, which was due to end at 6pm today, until tomorrow afternoon.

There’ll be further falls of heavy rain today, tonight and into Saturday, turning to wet snow in parts temporarily. Another 30 to 40mm of rainfall, with greater totals on some higher ground.

It’s valid until  Saturday at 12 noon. There’s been spot flooding reported on some roads already so let’s hope things don’t get much worse in the next day.
