While we were all dreading the storm, Met Éireann issued another Status Yellow Snow and Ice warning for Ireland taking effect from this morning until Saturday at 10am.

However, the Tralee area is unlikely to see falls of snow or freezing temperatures. It’s going to be cold and showery for the rest of Friday and overnight, with some very heavy showers between 4am and 7am.

Saturday morning and afternoon will see longer spells of dry weather with the odd shower and temperatures creeping up to double figure, but it will get more showery overnight.

Sunday will see showers all morning and in the afternoon until about 4pm, when the weekend will end on a dry note while temperatures will drop to around 6°c.
