STUDENTS up in Kerry College of Further Education are preparing to show their talents to the public at an exhibition this week.

The QQI Level 5 Art, Craft and Design Post Leaving Certificate students are currently putting the finishing touches to what promises to be a very inspiring and interesting Art and Craft Exhibition being held at Kerry College of Further Education, Tralee this Thursday evening between 6pm and 8pm.

“The event is open to the public and is a showcase of the many pieces of work students produced during their one year course of study at the college,” said Mary Murphy of KCFE.

“It promises to excite, inspire and enrich those who attend.  The course is run by Mary Kirby and Eileen Kennedy and is a preparatory course for those considering applying for places in third level colleges. We are hoping for a generous turnout on the night in support of the hard work students have put in in organising the event.  So we invite the public to sample the artistic delights this Thursday evening.  Admission is free and light refreshments will be served on the night,” said Mary.
