Top Country Star To Play At Fundraiser For North Kerry Parish

MICHAEL English and his band will play a church concert at The Church of the Assumption in Moyvane on Tuesday June 5 for the Parish of Moyvane Restoration Fund.

The concert is the brainchild of local parish priest Fr Kevin McNamara and his parishioners who are no strangers to   staging concerts featuring internationally renowned musical talent following on from Phil Coulter and the Irish Tenors who both played to packed out audiences in the North Kerry village in the past year.

Michael English is one of Ireland’s top Country Music stars. Since going on the road with his band four years ago, he is packing out venues all over Ireland and the UK for both concerts and dances.

Michael and his talented band are renowned for their energetic performances and with Michael’s musical talents he plays both his famous “red piano” and accordion at his shows.

He recently dueted with Daniel O’Donnell on The Late Late Show Country Special to rave reviews as is about to release a live album recorded at The INEC, Killarney.

This summer also sees Michael have a residency each Monday night at The Gleneagle Hotel.
