The organisers of the Daniel Coffey Memorial Soccer Tournament at the draw for the teams in Turners Bar on Monday night.
BETWEEN walks, 5k runs and rugby matches, there’s no shortage of things to do on St Stephen’s Day.
Another great event to support on the day is the 2016 Daniel Coffey Memorial Tournament.
Taking place at Marian Park pitch from 10.30am, the tournament celebrates a talented footballer, Daniel Coffey, who sadly passed away a few years ago and was first held in 2014.
There are the four teams taking part to be managed by Tim Landers, Pat Coffey, Pat Finnegan and Paudie Shea.

The tournament will be two semifinals and a final, and a possible 3rd place play off. Official menswear Castle Street are sponsoring the MVP award and Richard Duggan and Turners sponsoring the medals and after match refreshments.
Anyone who isn’t in the four teams (listed below) but wants to play, just come along on Monday at 10.30am to Marian Park Soccer pitch and they’ll fit you in a team.
