IBAL (Irish Business Against Litter) announced their first results of 2020, which sees Tralee in 6th place in their table of large towns and cities in Ireland.
Even though it was in 5th place out of 40 in the last report of June 2019, the rankings show Tralee to be ‘Cleaner Than European Norms’ in their report and is one of the cleanest large towns in Ireland.
The report says the town has made enormous strides in recent years and there are no seriously littered sites in the town. Killarney is at No.2, up one place from the last report.
