Members of Tralee Rowing Club will be out collecting on Saturday.
TRALEE Rowing Club will hold a special street collection this Saturday aimed at raising funds for the purchase of a much-needed gazebo.
The unpredictable Irish weather often poses a challenge for the rowers and their equipment. so to ensure that their dedicated athletes and their gear stays dry during competitions throughout the year, the club aims to acquire a sturdy gazebo that will offer shelter and protection from the elements.
“We’re thrilled to have this opportunity to engage with our community and seek their support for this vital initiative,” said James Morris, Chairperson of Tralee Rowing Club.

“A gazebo might seem like a simple addition, but it will significantly enhance our rowers’ experiences and help us maintain our commitment to excellence,” he added.
Club representatives will be present at key points throughout the town centre and Manor West from 10.30am tomorrow morning.
