TWO people who suffered injuries after a crash on the Tralee to Killarney road last night, have been released from hospital.
The crash involved a vehicle driven by a woman in her 30s and an official Garda van. The woman’s injuries were described as serious, but she has now been released from hospital. The Garda driver who suffered minor injuries was also released.
Gardaí in Killarney are appealing for witnesses to the two vehicle collision that occurred on the N22 Killarney to Tralee road approximately 7 miles from Killarney last night at 7.45pm.
As this collision involved a Garda vehicle the collision has been referred to The Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission which is standard procedure in such a collision.
