Young Kieran O’Connor of St Brendan’s Park FC channelled his inner Philippe Coutinho at the weekend when he scored a monstrous free kick from 35 yards out in an Under 14 game.

The game finished 2-2 after 90 minutes and when extra-time yielded another goal for each side, a penalty shoot out beckoned. Park won 7-6, thus going forward to the quarter-finals.
