Weather Advisory Issued For Kerry With Rain On The Way Later This Week

A WEATHER Advisory has been issued for Kerry, Clare, Cork, Limerick, Donegal, Connacht for adverse conditions later this week.

A band of rain is approaching from the Atlantic and is forecast to stall over the western half of the country on Thursday and Friday, leading to persistent and heavy falls in places.

This may result in some river flooding as well as localised surface flooding. This advisory will be updated Wednesday morning and warnings may be issued. The advisory is valid until 6am on Saturday morning.

Meanwhile, we should enjoy dry weather for the rest of Tuesday and Wednesday with the threat of the odd shower, before a deterioration on Thursday and Friday.
