Bad Weather On The Way For Tonight As Another Warning Issued

MET Éireann have issued a Status Yellow weather advisory for all of Ireland from tonight until Tuesday morning as we’re in for more bad weather.

A spell of wet and windy weather, with thundery downpours, will sweep eastwards over the country during Monday evening and night.

Gusts between 90 and 110km/h will occur in Atlantic, southern and later eastern coastal fringes for a time. Some accumulations of snow are possible during the period also.

There is also a snow-ice warning in effect for Ireland. Air temperatures will fall to freezing or below later tonight and early tomorrow morning, with widespread frost and ice on untreated surfaces.

Scattered wintry showers also, these mainly in west Ulster, Connacht and west Munster.
